My poem about my Egyptian art

 The green luscious palm trees staying a still as a stone. There is no more wind and now it turns as quiet as a mouse. The silhouette of a camel and the golden-brown pyramid staying as beautiful as always and the dead shrub that is as brown as the bark on the palm trees because of dehydration that sits still in Egypts golden sand.  

room 6 coasters

Last week I have been learning about all of the different tools and timber and wood and what we are going to make,I have been making and still working on my 3 coasters,If you can see I have had so much fun nearly making my coaster to the point it is as smooth as a wooden table anyways give me some feedback and feed forward and most of all enjoy.

Recount of my weekends

This week we had to make a recount,I did a recount of my weekend,I writ the date for the days,I only writ about the important things I did on the weekends,anyways read my recount of my weekend and give feedback or feed forward and most of all enjoy!

Rongoa movie planning

Me and my group have been working together to make a movie about our rongoa maori,first Khamani did the first scene about the harakeke,I did the second scene,my scene was to talk about kanuka and manuka,Mama did the third scene,she talked about korari being a different name for harakeke,Kailah did the last scene,Kailah said that all of us has a kawakawa leaf on all of our shirts,we also did a interview with Matua Midge,I was first to say my part in the interview,Khamani was second but Matua Midge couldn't do say his lines right with her so we had a few bad word(s) there, so Kailah did the second interview with Matua Midge instead of Khamani,Mama was recording the video,we made lots of bloopers and it was so fun to make the video because it was so fun to make.

In my classroom we have been doing our own free writing/Tuhi Mahorahora sessions, I was the only person who did my Tuhimahorahora in te reo maori, if you don´t understand it in te reo maori it´s ok I translated the te reo maori into english

The stolen stars of matariki-By Miriama Kamo

We have been reading a book about matariki it was so interesting to read about!
One of the things I liked about the book our class read was the part about agate,agate is a stone that you can find amongst the other grey stones at Te mata hapuku,the name of Te mata hapuku is a beautiful name.but more into the story is we readed is that one night after playing on the beach is that Poua and Te Rerehua´s grandma notices that 2 of the stars have gone out of the matariki cluster!
The patupaiarehe come out to play on the beach and they also seen that the patupaiarehe have two stars that are the stars from the matariki cluster!Oh no!They crawl over the stony hill and do not make single noise,Te Rerehua and Sam walk over to the patupaiarehe and the patupaiarehe think that there one of them,the patupaiarehe let them in their photo room with some picture on the every wall with every picture of their family and they also tell Te Rerehua and Sam their evil plan!They told them that they are going to burry Pohutakawa and Hiwa-i-te-rangi under the grey stones of Te mata hapuku!but then grandpa and grandma came rushing in and stole Pohutukawa and Hiwa-i-te-rangi from the evil patupaiarehe and threw Pohutukawa back into the dark blue sky she made a beautiful blue and green trail behind her,grandpa threw Hiwa-i-te-rangi and she did the same,it was morning and they decided to eat the fresh new eels he got.
